Media generation

Everything Aimogen Pro can generate or process as media - images, image edits, video, speech and transcription - and where each is configured.

Aimogen Pro generates and processes media in five ways.

Where media generation happens#

ContextDocumentation
Featured and in-article images during content creationFeatured images and in-post media
Images added or edited by the AI Content EditorAI Content Editor
Images generated in an OmniBlock workflowBlock reference
Images the chatbot generates on requestChatbot Extensions

Provider credentials for all of it live in Image and video providers and Speech and voice providers.

Cost, honestly#

Media is where AI spending gets away from people. Relative order of magnitude per unit:

Relative cost
A paragraph of textbaseline
An embeddingfar less than a paragraph
An imagemany times a paragraph
A minute of speechmore than an image
A videofar more than everything above

Practical consequences:

  • One featured image per post, not one per section, unless you need them.
  • Royalty-free sources and Cloudflare Workers cost nothing per image.
  • Set the separate text-to-speech limits before exposing speech publicly.
  • Treat video as a manual, deliberate operation rather than something a rule does per post.

Storage#

Generated media is served from short-lived provider URLs. Settings › AI Images › Copy Royalty Free / AI Images From Post Content decides where it ends up: the WordPress Media Library, or an S3-compatible bucket.
