Express Mode

Creating a single AI post in Aimogen Pro Express Mode, stage by stage, with templates and custom fields.

AI Content Creators › Single Creators › Express Mode builds one post interactively. Each stage is a separate button, so you see and approve the output before moving on.

It is the right first stop for a new install: if Express Mode works, your provider configuration is correct.

This tutorial was recorded before Aiomatic was renamed to Aimogen Pro. Some labels or interface elements may differ slightly from the current version.

The workflow#

1. Post Title#

Type a title, or a topic to generate one from. The title feeds every later stage, so it is worth getting right — a vague title produces a vague article.

2. Post Sections#

Set Number of created sections (1–20, default 2) and select Generate Sections. The model proposes an outline.

Edit the outline before continuing. It is much cheaper to fix the structure here than to regenerate the whole article.

3. Post Content#

Select Generate Content. Each section is written in turn, with the article so far available as context, so sections do not repeat each other.

Output lands in a normal WordPress editor, so you can edit it in place.

4. Post Excerpt#

Generate Excerpt produces a summary. Optional, but many themes and most SEO plugins use it.

5. Metadata#

Before creating the post, set:

FieldNotes
Publish DateDefaults to now. Set a future date to schedule
Post CategoriesStandard category picker
Post TagsComma-separated
Featured ImageChoose from the Media Library, or generate one
Custom FieldsAdd a key and a value. Generate AI Content fills the value with AI

6. Create Post#

Create Post is disabled until content exists. Selecting it creates the post and offers Edit Created Post and Continue Creating Posts With AI.

Content parameters#

SettingEffect
Writing StyleA named style applied to the prompts, for example journalistic or conversational
Writing ToneA named tone, for example formal or friendly

Both are injected into prompts as %%writing_style%% and %%writing_tone%%. See Placeholder reference.

Model settings#

SettingEffect
AI AssistantUse an AI Assistant instead of a model. Selecting one disables the model picker, because the assistant carries its own model
ModelAny model from any configured provider
Max TokensOutput cap per stage. See Tokens and context
Run The Content Prompt Separately For Each SectionOn by default. Turning it off generates the whole article in one call

Templates#

Three buttons at the bottom of the screen:

  • Save New Template stores the current configuration
  • Load Selected Template applies a stored one
  • Delete Selected Template removes one

Templates are stored as aiomatic_omni_temp posts and are shared with the other creators. Useful when you produce the same kind of article repeatedly.

Execution time#

Express Mode warns if PHP max_execution_time is below 1000 seconds. Because each stage is its own request, the warning is usually not a problem — the stage-by-stage design exists precisely so that no single request runs long.

If an individual stage times out, the cause is a slow model or a very high token budget, not the workflow. See Recommended server configuration.

Front-end equivalent#

[aimogen_post_creator] puts the same creator on the front end for logged-in users. See Front-end AI tools.
