What the Aimogen Pro Elementor integration actually does - AI controls inside the editor, Elementor output for AI Omni Pages, and block-aware editing.

Aimogen Pro integrates with Elementor in three distinct ways. They are often confused, so it is worth being precise.

1. AI controls inside the Elementor editor#

The plugin adds AI generation controls to two existing Elementor widgets:

Widget	Control added
Text Editor	Aimogen Content Generator — a prompt field and a generate button
Heading	Aimogen Headline Generator — the same for headlines

Both add an AI prompt field, a generate action, and their own model and parameter settings, injected into the widget content section.

%%content%% is available in the widget prompt and carries the current widget content, which is what makes "rewrite this" work.

2. Elementor output from AI Omni Pages#

AI Omni Pages can produce Elementor sections rather than Gutenberg blocks. The generated page is fully editable in Elementor afterwards.

This is the substantial integration: a complete landing page built from a prompt, in Elementor.

3. Block-aware editing#

The AI Content Editor can edit Elementor content correctly:

`Enable Elementor Editor Block Support`	Runs the editing prompt separately for each Elementor block
`Elementor CSS Class Filter`	Restricts editing to elements carrying a given CSS class

The CSS class filter is the precise tool: tag the elements you want AI-edited with a class, and only those are touched.

Using shortcodes in Elementor#

Any Aimogen Pro shortcode works inside an Elementor Shortcode widget:

That is how you place a chatbot, a form or an image generator in an Elementor layout.

Elementor Pro#

Elementor Pro is detected separately. The AI controls work with both free and Pro.

Common problems#

No Aimogen controls in the widget. Elementor is not active, or you are looking at a widget other than Text Editor or Heading.

Generated content does not appear. Check the browser console for an admin-ajax.php failure. The generation runs through aiomatic_generate_content and aiomatic_generate_headline.

Layout broken after AI editing. Block support was not enabled. Restore from backup.

Omni Pages output is Gutenberg, not Elementor. The editor selection on the Omni Pages screen.
