The “dark web” is a part of the internet that requires special browsers to get access to. Once we access the dark web, sites and online services can be accessed in a similar way like on the public web.
However, some sites are effectively “hidden”, in that they have not been indexed by a search engine and can only be accessed if you know the address of the site. Special markets also operate within the dark web called, “dark net markets”, which mainly sell illegal products like drugs and firearms, paid for in the cryptocurrency Bitcoin.
There is even a crowd-funded “Death Market”, where clients can pay for having somebody killed.
In light of the dark web’s relative secrecy, it has been the place of decision for groups that needed to remain concealed online from governments and law enforcing organizations. To sum things up, the dark web contains more than meets the eye! 🙂
Starting from now, you will be able to import content from the dark web to your WordPress blog!
In the latest update for the Trendomatic plugin (v2.0.0), you will be able to import content from the Dark Web – using the power of the WebHose API!
