Can you tell me, please, how are you sharing the contents of the generated RSS feeds on social media? This might be an issue with the software you are using for this, because it does not seem to decode encoded content.

One more thing. I checked the feed in an example feed reader and the feed readers should be able to decode the encoded quotes. Please check: https://simplepie.org/demo/?feed=http%3A%2F%2Fgemstatemodern.idahominute.com%2F%3Ffeed%3Dsocialfeed

Thank you.
Can you tell me, please, which version of the plugin are you using? I ask because I remember I made some fixes and if you are using an older version they might not be applied in your case.
Let me know, please.

Hello,
First of all, thank you for your purchase.
Can you send me, please, the RSS feed URL where I can see these characters appearing? Thank you.

Hello,
Thank you for your purchase.
The Echo RSS plugin imports content from RSS feeds. By default, WordPress adds 8 posts to the RSS feeds it generates (this is why the plugin imported only 8 posts in your case).
To import all posts, you need to create a custom RSS feed on your source site, which will include all the posts from your original site. You can try creating the new feed using the Echo plugin or a free plugin, like this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-simple-rss/
After you created the custom feed, you can use it in the Echo RSS plugin settings on your new site to import all content using it.

I would suggest increasing the time after which the cron runs – you should replace the 15 minute run time with a 1 or 2 hour run time. This will make the plugin use up fewer resources and not have issues with hosting limitations.
I hope this helps.

You must refresh the page 2-3 times after you publish the article containing the video. This will make the wp_cron system to load and also start the live streaming in the plugin.

The progress bar you are referring to is available only in the Classic Editor. You can install it using this free plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/

Hello,
I updated the plugin to v1.0.8, added a new checkbox in the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ -> ‘Disable Comment Flood Protection for This Site’. Please update the plugin to the latest version, check this checkbox -> save settings -> and the issue should be fixed.
Let me know if this helped.

October 26, 2020 at 6:51 am in reply to: unable to stream multi live plugin #2198
Hello,
First of all, thank you for your purchase.
I checked your site and it seems that the issues were coming from an incorrect Facebook live ingestion URL. The error in the plugin was the following:
Cannot open connection tls://live-api-s.facebook.com:443 rtmps://live-api-s.facebook.com:443/rtmp/180958233526345?s_bl=1&s_ps=1&s_psm=1&s_sw=0&s_vt=api-s&a=AbzXtkwNN9Xa0v1F: Resource temporarily unavailable
Please check this error, here: https://ms.cobrasoftwares.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=mlsb_logs
I removed the Facebook URL from the ‘Additional Ingestion URLs Where To Stream’ settings field from the plugin settings and checked with doing a live stream to my sites and for me, it worked, please check example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqLJVylPKOo (I will remove this test video, if you wish).
So, please double check on the Facebook live stream ingestion URL that you used because it caused an error in the plugin.
Also, I redacted the login credentials from the above post you create here, for security reasons.

If the website allows access to it from your server’s ip address, no proxy is needed.

Hello,
No, I do not have a plugin that has similar features, however, the idea is good, I noted it, will consider it for future plugins.
Regards.

However, after you generate the 3 sales required for API access, I recommend that you switch to API method and enter API keys in plugin settings.
-
You can use the plugin’s default settings, no issues should be with them.
