April 25, 2022 at 10:09 am in reply to: RSS for event post type #5025
Hello,
Please check my answers below:
2a. Getting classes from the content is possible only if you scrape article full content from the source URLs. To do this, please check the ‘Try to Get Full Article Content’ checkbox in importing rule settings in the Echo RSS plugin and you will be able to select ‘Full Content Query Type’ -> Class + ‘Search Query String’ -> the class name you wish to extract from the source content.
2b. Meta tags are not possible to be added in the RSS feeds (they can only be imported from the RSS feeds to posts). If you need this feature, I can add a custom update to the plugin to add this functionality to it, for details, please contact me at my email kisded@yahoo.com
2c. Adding the tags can be done only into the post content, not into the featured image or other post data.
3. Regarding the custom tags you wish to scrape from https://wordpress-556430-2568836.cloudwaysapps.com/?call_custom_simple_rss=1&csrp_post_type=event – they are not able to be scraped because the tags you wish to scrape (for example ova_mb_event_event_tag) are not contained in the root of the RSS item, but in the <dc:dataset> RSS item leaf.
If you could remove the <dc:dataset> container from the above RSS feed and add the ova_mb_event_event_tag tag directly in the RSS feed item structure, importing it with the plugin would work.
I hope this info helped.

The main difference is that Mastermind does the posting remotely (it can post also to remove WordPress sites, however, this remote posting type is not supported on WordPress.com). While Echo RSS is able to post only on your local site, but will fully work on WordPress.com
Regarding the exchange, I can offer a refund for Mastermind, please create a refund request here: https://codecanyon.net/refund_requests/new
Afterwards, please purchase the Echo RSS plugin here: https://codecanyon.net/item/echo-rss-feed-post-generator-plugin-for-wordpress/19486974
Regards.

Hello,
I checked and using the Mastermind plugin is not possible on WordPress.com sites (only on sites which are self hosted WordPress installations). I can provide a replacement plugin for you, which has similar functionality, which will work also for you. It is called Echo RSS, I installed it on your site and created a post using it from the RSS feed you tried to set up in the Mastermind plugin: https://news.google.com/rss/search?q=ux
Please check its functionality on your site and in this tutorial video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9iIUjegP0o&list=PLEiGTaa0iBIhKwBdxZMUdHHY4XuXLvctE&index=1
Let me know if this helped.

Hello,
I tried to log in using the above credentials, but it did not work. I get the following message:
We couldn’t find your account. If you already have an account, make sure you have connected to WordPress.com.
Because you have a WordPress.com hosted site, you need to add my WordPress.com account as an admin to your site. My account email is kisded@yahoo.com – please check details on inviting users here: https://wordpress.com/support/user-roles/

Hello,
First of all, thank you for your purchase.
1. The Echo RSS plugin can create RSS feeds also for custom post types, please use the ‘Advanced Feed Query’ settings field. You can enter there: &post_type=event – (or the custom slug of your post type)
Please check this video for details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gobN4qTaGTA
2. For this, you need to use the custom feed attribute feature of the plugin, please check this video for details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4BMWi2tCGQ
3. Currently, the plugin is limited to a minimum of 1 hour rule running period. This limitation is to not allow users to overuse their server’s resources and contact me afterwards complaining that the plugin is not working. If you wish, I can add this feature to the plugin, as a payed custom update (just for you), for details on this, please contact me at my email kisded@yahoo.com
4. You need to create an external cron job which calls the URL you created. However, please note that this will only fire the cron running process – the rules will still run on the schedule you set them to run. For more info on setting a server side cron, please check this link: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/257-setting-the-server-side-cron-linux-cron
5. Please check if creating the custom RSS feed explained at point 1. helped on this.
6. Yes, the RSS feeds will automatically update with changes, based on the schedule WordPress updates RSS feeds. Details: https://www.greengeeks.com/tutorials/how-to-change-the-wordpress-rss-feed-update-interval/
7. Yes, the guid will be an unique identifier for each post found in the RSS feeds.
Let me know if this info helped.

April 22, 2022 at 6:20 am in reply to: Standard resizing of images #5007
Hello,
First of all, thank you for your purchase.
When resizing images, the plugin will keep their aspect ratio, to not make images look bad after resizing.
To solve the issue from your front page, you need to contact the support of your current theme and ask them to customize the theme for you, so it displays images in a standard size (and will not display them in different sizes if they are in different aspect ratios.
Also, a freelancer with CSS skill is able to do this job.
I am sorry that I cannot help, but the aspect ratio keeping of images is a requirement, as if I would remove this, the images would be greatly distorted after resizing and they would not look good at all. Thank you for your understanding on this.

Hello,
First of all, thank you for your purchase.
I checked the images you added and the settings you added in the plugin seems to be correct. Please send me the URL of the RSS feed from where you wish to extract this tag and I check on this on my test site. You can send it also in email to kisded@yahoo.com

April 19, 2022 at 4:29 pm in reply to: Feature Request: Spin Articles only post publising #4990
I understand. If you wish to spin posts on a one-by-one basis, I recommend you also check the Kraken plugin I created, it is a general post editor, but it has also the post spinning feature – it provides a button on the single post editor screen in WordPress admin, to edit single posts: https://codecanyon.net/item/kraken-automatic-post-editor-plugin-for-wordpress/20620891
Regarding the featured image issue, do you happen to use remote featured images from URL? Please check in the Newsomatic plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ menu -> ‘Do Not Copy Featured Image Locally’ or the ‘Enable ‘Featured Image from URL’ Integration’ checkboxes. Uncheck these if you have them checked.
Regards.

Hello,
Thank you for this idea, I noted it.
Currently you can do something very similar – you can disable spinning for specific rules, you can do this by checking the ‘Do Not Spin Posts Generated By This Rule’ checkbox from importing rule settings – I think this will do the same as you need: https://ibb.co/zXb5mrs
