      Just a follow up from my previous query, I am not sure why you mention there is no current news from the keyword Cardano – where my feed from other source is populated with its latest news…

      I am not sure if it is just me but i found that there’s not much latest news from the current api? is there a way to include alerts from Google?

      or is there a proper way to search? e.g. I want to search Cardano dex but there’s really nothing much…

      I think no need to give the admin rights as quite straightforward we cannot pull any news from Google News. It’s been asked by earlier threads and hope you are doing something to fix the issue…

      In fact, I created a google alert + RSS and it is providing me news related to the keyword I posted earlier. How come when we ‘scrape’ Google News, there’s nothing?

      I don’t want to sound absurd and just pointing out facts. I like your product that’s why I bought it.

      Ok, no problem. In this case I will check on my test site and query the API for the keyword Cardano. If you have some news source websites in mind from where you would like to see the plugin import content (cardano related or from other domains), let me know and I will be glad to add it to the plugin and API.

      Hello,

      I am sorry that the plugin is not generating as many results as it should from Google News for the “Cardano” keyword.

      This is caused by a server limitation, news are scraped from all the sources currently added to the API in a 12 hour interval, this probably is causing some news to be missed and not scraped from some sources which output a high number of news periodically.

      I noted this, I have to improve the API so it scrapes the news sources which are outputting more content more frequently.

      Until this change is implemented, I can offer free of charge the Echo RSS plugin, which can import posts from RSS feeds, this can be installed and set up on your site, it will serve as an alternative content source, working together with Newsomatic. To get the plugin, please send me an email to [email protected] and I will send it to you for free.
