Tips for growing your own subreddit

I’ve been working with Reddit for several years now and one aspect of the site I’ve mainly stayed away from covering is growing your own subreddit, which I don’t even cover in my tutorial, but I’ll cover here. I’ve done it one time before, and it was very successful, I just went a little too hard too quickly and caught the attention of Reddit admins when I started using it for marketing. I even created a WordPress plugin which can auto post to Reddit and also import posts from Reddit, called Redditomatic.
