2024 Year End Review – AI Unlocks New Frontiers For WordPress
Welcome guys to another year end review post. This time, it is for the year 2024. Many things happened during this year, especially in the AI field. New stuff seems to be appearing each day, we try to do our best to keep up with our fast paced life.
As always, I am glad that I have the ability to write this post. You can check also previous “Year in Review” posts I wrote: 2018 | 2019 | 2020 | 2021 | 2022 | 2023.
I always want to emphasize that I really enjoy doing these year end review posts, as they allow me to reflect over the year which is just passing by and to think of new possibilities which could open up in the new year which soon arrives at our doorstep.
To sum things up for 2024: I had a laser focus on Aiomatic, adding tons of new features to it, making it the most feature rich AI driven WordPress plugin on the market. This is the second year I do so, in 2023 Aiomatic was also my first priority. No new plugins were released this year, however, I recently finished work on a new member of the CodeRevolution family. The name of the new plugin will be Threadsomatic and it will be allowing automatic publishing of posts to the Threads social network. This new plugin should be available in the first part of 2025.
Now lets check 2024 in more detail!
1. CodeRevolution on CodeCanyon
Aiomatic continues to be an All-In-One AI plugin for WordPress. It got tons of new features in 2024, most of them are coming from ideas from you guys, from the community who is using the plugin. I created this ideas board for Aiomatic, where you will be able to check and vote for new updates and features which will be added to Aiomatic: Aiomatic Feature Ideas. Feel free to suggest new feature ideas and vote for existing ideas already listed there.
In 2024, Aiomatic alone Aiomatic’s sale count went up from 1450 to 2220, generating over 770 sales. This number is not higher than the sale number from 2023, but I am really grateful for it, as it is still allowing me to focus my attention on building and developing it for you guys.
The goal for 2025 is to continue to work on Aiomatic, as there are many new updates coming in the AI field, also during the next year.
In the world of AI, this year has been a pivotal one in its evolution, solidifying its role as a cornerstone in both business operations and personal interactions. A remarkable majority of businesses now integrate AI as a fundamental part of their strategies, with over half utilizing generative AI across multiple functions. AI isn’t just a tool anymore—it’s becoming an indispensable partner in decision-making, productivity, and creativity.
In my journey with Aiomatic, these shifts were important, in defining the development paths I took to enhance the plugin’s capabilities. Throughout 2024, I focused on expanding Aiomatic’s functionality to meet the growing demand for smarter, more interactive tools. From features inspired by user feedback to innovations aligned with broader AI trends, Aiomatic has grown into a truly comprehensive solution for WordPress users.
So What Lies Ahead in 2025 for AI and Aiomatic?
- The Early Arrival of AGI
Experts are increasingly optimistic about Artificial General Intelligence coming sooner than anticipated, probably in 2025. Aiomatic will stay ahead of this curve, ensuring it remains compatible with future advancements. Whether through smarter integrations or more autonomous features, the plugin is ready to evolve alongside these breakthroughs. - AI as an Active Participant
The next generation of AI won’t just provide answers; it will take action. Aiomatic is already including this functionality, allowing tool calls to be executed by the AI models, each doing different actions, like searching YouTube, scraping sites, getting content from RSS feeds and much more. 2025 will surely bring big improvements in this section also. - Voice Interaction as a New Norm
As voice-based AI interfaces become mainstream, Aiomatic already adapted this trend by including the Realtime OpenAI API support, which allows direct voice chat between the user and the AI, fully happening in real time. 2025 should bring more advanced features in this real time communication, as OpenAI is focusing its attention on this section. - The Rise of AI-Generated Video
Video creation is becoming more accessible thanks to AI, Sora is announced for a while now, but not yet released. 2025 should be the year of its full release. Aiomatic will bring full support for Sora AI, once it will be available for the general public, in the OpenAI API. - AI Everywhere, All the Time
By next year, nearly every tool will have some form of AI integration. Aiomatic is working to include this feature by ensuring seamless compatibility with other platforms and plugins. This interconnected approach will empower users to achieve more with less effort.
Building Aiomatic for the Future
As AI continues to evolve at a rapid pace, staying adaptable is crucial. My focus for 2025 is to ensure Aiomatic keeps pushing boundaries, providing users with the tools they need to thrive in an increasingly AI-driven world. From enhancing productivity to simplifying complex tasks, my vision is to make Aiomatic a go-to solution for creators and entrepreneurs alike.
2. Plugin support
2024 has been another transformative year for my company, largely shaped by the continued growth and success of the Aiomatic plugin. With its expanding feature set and a rapidly growing user base, the demand for support and updates naturally increased as more people relied on Aiomatic to power their WordPress sites.
This year, I fielded over 2,000 customer inquiries – an impressive number that highlights how integral Aiomatic has become to so many workflows. Each email, ticket, and message served as a reminder of the trust users place in my plugins. While juggling development, marketing, and customer support on my own is no small feat, I made it my mission to respond to every inquiry promptly and effectively.
To handle this surge in demand, I streamlined my support process by working on my existing ticketing system and knowledge base. These improvements helped reduce response times and empowered users to find answers on their own. Despite these tools, I continued to provide hands-on, personalized support whenever needed, ensuring that no user felt overlooked or unsupported.
Balancing the technical and business aspects of running CodeRevolution remains a challenge, but I’ve found immense fulfillment in seeing how my plugins positively impact users. The glowing feedback and nearly 30 new five-star reviews this year reaffirm my commitment to maintaining a high standard of service and innovation.
3. YouTube Channel Videos
The CodeRevolutionTV YouTube channel experienced steady growth throughout 2024, reaching 8,780 subscribers by year-end – a significant jump from 7,795 at the close of 2023. This year, I uploaded 165 new videos, focusing on plugin updates, in-depth tutorials, and other tech-related topics. While I didn’t publish as many videos as in previous years, the quality and relevance of the content helped drive engagement and viewership.
One major highlight of the year was a tutorial on maximizing the potential of AI-powered WordPress plugins, which quickly became one of the channel’s most-watched videos. Another standout moment came with a detailed walkthrough on optimizing Aiomatic for SEO—a topic that resonated strongly with viewers and brought in a wave of new subscribers.
The continued positive feedback and growing community reaffirm the importance of creating practical, targeted content. Looking ahead, I plan to expand the channel’s scope even further in 2025, delivering more valuable insights and tutorials for my audience.
4. Goals for 2025
As I look forward to 2025, my vision is clear: to build on the momentum of 2024 and push the boundaries of what Aiomatic and CodeRevolution can achieve. Here are some of the key objectives I have set for the upcoming year:
- Expand Aiomatic’s Feature Set
AI is evolving rapidly, and so will Aiomatic. My top priority for 2025 is to introduce more groundbreaking features, including deeper integrations with emerging AI tools, enhanced automation capabilities, and expanded support for voice and video content creation. I also want to focus on making Aiomatic even more user-friendly for beginners while maintaining its power for advanced users. - Continue to work on all my existing plugins and keep them fully functional
I continue to honor all my previous plugins and their customers, by offering updates and full support for all my plugins. I will continue to make them fully functional and maintained for upcoming PHP and WordPress updates which will come in 2025 and afterwards. - Launch the new Threadsomatic WordPress plugin
After completing development in late 2024, the launch of Threadsomatic in early 2025 is one of the year’s milestones. My goal is to position it as the go-to plugin for seamless publishing to the Threads social network, while continuing to refine it based on early user feedback. - Reach 10,000 YouTube Subscribers
CodeRevolutionTV has become a platform for connecting with users, and I aim to grow its subscriber base to 10,000 by the end of 2025. I’ll focus on creating more in-depth tutorials, live Q&A sessions, and behind-the-scenes content to engage with the community in new ways. - Enhance Customer Support and Community Engagement
Continuing to provide exceptional customer support is a core priority. I plan to further streamline support processes and explore launching a dedicated community forum where users can share tips, ask questions, and connect with other plugin enthusiasts. - Explore New AI Plugin Ideas
While Aiomatic remains the flagship plugin, 2025 will be a year to explore new plugin ideas that address emerging needs in the WordPress ecosystem. By staying tuned to user feedback and industry trends, I hope to develop innovative solutions that make life easier for WordPress users. - Achieve 3,000 Sales for Aiomatic
Building on the success of 2024, I aim to surpass 3,000 total sales for Aiomatic in 2025. To do this, I’ll focus on refining the plugin, marketing it effectively, and ensuring users get the most out of its capabilities. - Contribute to the WordPress Community
Giving back to the WordPress community has always been important to me. In 2025, I aim to contribute more through open-source projects, collaborations, and sharing valuable insights via blog posts and tutorials. - Develop a new secret idea, which might come in 2025
In 2024 I laid the foundations of a new secret project, which I don’t want to announce yet. This could be the largest project I ever worked on, even larger in scope than Aiomatic. Because of the huge potential impact of this new project idea, I don’t want to spoil it yet, I continue to think and work on it in 2025. I will surely announce it publicly, once it is ready!
With these goals in mind, I’m excited to see what the next year holds. Here’s to making 2025 a year of innovation, connection, and growth!
5. Closing Thoughts on 2024
As we close out 2024, I’m grateful for the incredible community that has formed around Aiomatic. Your suggestions, patience, and enthusiasm fuel my passion to keep improving. While 2024 was a year of innovation and refinement, 2025 promises to be even more exciting.
