Ok, one more try:The plugin can link the generated post titles directly to the source article – and like this, making a similar behavior to what you wish to achieve. Please go to plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ -> check the ‘Enable the ‘Link Generated Post Titles To Source Articles’ Feature’ checkbox -> save settings -> go to importing rule advanced settings (hit ‘Settings’ for the rule you wish to edit -> check the ‘Link Generated Post Titles To Source Articles’ checkbox -> save settings -> import new posts. Please note that the plugin will still create posts, but they will link to the source article.Regards,

Well, I have this last thing up in my sleeve: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxUKUboxUcg
Besides this, I am really out of options for this.

Maybe the ‘Strip Images From Post Content’ checkbox from importing rule advanced settings will help? 🙂

Well, it seems that your theme is not supporting this feature.
This is an experimental feature (not officially supported by WordPress – just implemented by me), and it is not working well on all themes (not all themes display images in a standard way, some are displaying them directly from the database, in which case, I am unable to load images remotely.
To make this work, the only option is to look for a theme which will support this feature.

Hello,
3. Yes, you can try using: ‘Main Settings’ -> ‘Do Not Copy Featured Image Locally’ checkbox.

Please contact your hosting provider’s support to ask for help in making server settings changes. I had some bad experience with configuring client’s servers (the server settings broke while was configuring it – without me doing anything wrong, and the client got upset on me).
I really do not feel comfortable configuring client servers any more.
Sorry for this and thank you for your understanding.
Regards.

Hello,
Please tweak your server settings, so it will allow uploading also of larger files.
Please check:
How to Increase the WordPress Maximum Upload File Size
https://kinsta.com/blog/wordpress-maximum-upload-file-size/
This should be set to 1000M or larger (to allow streaming of large video files).
Also, please check that you have the below settings on your server:
- FFMPEG installed on server
- PHP 5.4 or higher
- allow_url_fopen enabled
- allow_url_include enabled
- php CURL extension (install to Debian/Ubuntu etc with apt-get install php5-curl )

1. I don’t know the TagDiv team personally, I just heard of them. However, we are in the same country, but in neighbouring cities. I am from Cluj-Napoca 🙂 – regarding the issue, yes, if I understood this issue and your question correctly, the displaying of categories (the black box you referred to) is fully dependent of the theme. My plugin can just add this to the content of the post (which is not displayed in the preview section of the post).
2. This sounds like a weird issue, I will look into the ID+1 problem, this did not happen for me so far. No need for time delays between deleting posts and re-importing them.
Regards.

1. Yes, multi language plugins should solve this issue. If not, please let me know.
2. The update is available on my update server. Please register your purchase code in the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ -> afterwards go to WordPress’s ‘Plugins’ menu -> hit ‘Check for updates’ and ‘Update now’ for the plugin. It will be updated each time to the latest version, like this.

Hello,
1. Displaying the category in the preview section (excerpt) of each post, can be handled automatically by the theme, if you go plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ -> check the ‘Disable Automatic Excerpt Generation’ checkbox -> save settings -> create new posts.
Like this, the theme will fully handle the preview of posts, and it can be customized from it’s settings.
2. Updated the plugin to v4.9.4.6 -> added new settings field ‘Default Post Author User ID‘ in ‘Main Settings’ – I think this will help.
Regards.

Hello,
1. You can check -> ‘Main Settings’ -> “‘Read More’ Button Text” settings field.
2. Ok, I noted this idea on my update ideas list, I will look into it and if I find a way to make it work, I will add it to a future plugin version.
Regards.

Hello,
First of all, thank you for your purchase.
1) To add the read more button to posts, please go to importing rule settings in the plugin ‘Echo to Post Rules’ -> click ‘Settings’ for the rule you wish to edit -> go to ‘Generated Post Content’ settings field -> add the %%item_read_more_button%% shortcode in to the settings field (append this to the content that you have there) -> save settings -> import new posts.
2) You can limit the imported length of articles, using the ‘Limit Article Word Count’ settings field, found in the same settings panel as the one linked in the response from point 1 from above.
Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
