Hello,I checked and found 2 issues with the spinner:1. There is an issue on SpinnerChief’s part, if the request contains characters like … than their API request is failing with the timeout issue you saw earlier on your site. I reported this issue, I hope they will fix it as soon as possible. Until then, I updated the plugin an automatically remove these characters from the API request, and as a result, the API works. Ticket I created: https://support.whitehatbox.com/Ticket/TicketEdit?ticketID=1Kghw2CIYZj0OItsvy2JLS5BUQKCsEv42. You need to enter your username and password in the plugin settings (no additional info required). I need to change the tooltips for the plugin, to make this less confusing. I fixed plugin settings also, now spinning works.Please check.Regards.

The Amazomatic plugin will work with the Application Passwords plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/application-passwords/
You can use Application Passwords to authenticate users without providing their passwords directly. While Amazomatic can be used to generate Amazon Affiliate content to your website.

I have checked this on my test server, and for me, spinning works, so this might be an issue related to your website, I need to check it there.

Well, yes, this is the issue, the API is returning ‘429 Too Many Requests’. This means that you need to make 3 sales on your account before they will allow you to access their API.
You should publish some posts manually and add your affiliate links, after you will have 3+ affiliate sales, the API will also work for you.
I plan to make an update for the plugin to make it able to scrape product listings directly, to not need to use the API for new affiliate accounts. Will be working on this.

Can you send me, please, the logs that appear in the ‘Activity and Logging’ menu of the plugin? We might get more info about this issue from there.
As a side note, please be sure to have at least 3 affiliate sales on the Amazon account that you are using, because now they require this for you to get access to their API.

First of all, thank you for your purchase.
This issue seems to be caused by a firewall rule blocking access to the SpinnerChief API.
Please contact your hosting provider’s support and ask them to allow access to http://api.spinnerchief.com – this is where their api is located. They should be able to check why this connection is not working from your server’s part.

The thing is that the API operates for a limited period only, and it managed to cover only partial results from Google News. You can get results from it for keywords, but if you limit queries to specific sites, results might be limited.
If you need more sites to be added to the API, let me know and I will be able to help.

Hello,I checked and it seems that Google News is not returning indexed content for some reason the site you are willing to import content from.Because of this, I added it directly as a source to the API, please check the rule I created on your site.It should start importing posts in 24 hours, until the API manages to start crawling from this source also.Regards.
