      Hi.

I’ve set up the plugin and configured it according to your guidelines. All I need for now is the FB>WP functionality.

No matter what I try I get those errors. I understand that FB has made some changes on 05/05/2020 that probably resulted in this.

[8-May-2020 17:09:04 UTC] Unrecognized API response: { “error”: { “message”: “(#10) This endpoint requires the ‘pages_read_engagement’ permission or the ‘Page Public Content Access’ feature. Refer to https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/review/login-permissions#manage-pages and https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/review/feature#reference-PAGES_ACCESS for details.”, “type”: “OAuthException”, “code”: 10, “fbtrace_id”: “AuN6IOkx5454n-_gSRZAq6T” } } URI: https://graph.facebook.com/v3.3/110213140642181/posts?access_token=1483382968487606|qbgQw7RGqqUzqFlSW35agy9oOPw&limit=100&fields=full_picture,picture,id,message,from,story,attachments,created_time

      Please, help!!!

      Hello,

I checked and it seems Facebook deactivated the app id/secret I was sharing with you.

To further import content from Facebook, please use the cookie based authentication method. Please check this video tutorial on how to use it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzapShbFPNs

If possible, please create a new Facebook account and use the cookies from that account, this just as a preventive measure, so your main Facebook account is not banned because of unauthorized use of the cookie method.

      Regards,
      Szabi – CodeRevolution.

      OK. This started to work.

      Now I have some observations/problems:

      1. Seems, that the plugin imports newest posts first instead of oldest first.
      2. The date is set to current date instead of date of post.
      3. It only imports 5 posts per run (I set the limit to 100).

Is there any way to change this behaviour? If so, should I delete all post and import again?

      Hello,

      1. Yes, the plugin is able to import posts only in reverse chronological order (newer to older). This is a limitation set by Facebook.

      2. Please check the ‘Set Post Original Date‘ checkbox from importing rule settings to set post date to Facebook post date.

      3. This is once again a limitation set by the cookie method, 5 posts can be imported by each run, because the Facebook listing contains this amount of posts.

      Regards.

      Hi,

I had the same issue and now I used the cookie based authentication.

All I get in my posts are the pictures and the below content:
“To help personalise content, tailor and measure ads and provide a safer experience, we use cookies. By clicking on or navigating the site, you agree to allow us to collect information on and off Facebook through cookies. Learn more, including about available controls:
      Cookie Policy.”

Any pointers to what I’m doing wrong?

      Hello,

This sounds like a weird issue. Can you send me, please, temporary admin login credentials to your WordPress install, so I can check this issue out? Send it, please, to my email address: [email protected].

      Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
