    Hello,

    I updated the plugin to v1.2.3, now you can set query selectors to grab precisely the content you wish to import from pages.

    In the latest update you will find the following settings fields (please set them to the below values, for the Florida Wikipedia page, to extract the table you mentioned):

    Content Query Type:
    XPath

    Content Query String:
    /html/body/div/div[43]

     

    To parse sections, please check this tutorial video for info on how to get the XPath expression, which needs to be entered in the ‘Content Query String’ settings field: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKrKq0vzHMY

    Hello,

    If you wish to add basic SEO meta tags for posts, this is possible also with a free SEO plugin like Yoast https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/ or All In Oe SEO https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/

    If you would need more detailed SEO meta tags, a custom plugin update is needed, let me know if this is the case.

    Importing comments is possible only if you use the official Facebook API method, but which unfortunately (since 2020) requires review from Facebook’s part.

    1. The plugin will come with a list of good bots which are excepted from filtering. The list is as follows:

    googlebot,googleweblight,bingbot,mediapartners-google,ia_archiver,FeedFetcher-Google,msnbot,yandexbot,baiduspider,wordpress,apis-google,AdsBot-Google-Mobile,Google-Read-Aloud,DuplexWeb-Google,Storebot-Google,Googlebot-Image,AdsBot-Google-Mobile-Apps,Googlebot-Video,Googlebot-News,AdsBot-Google,facebot,facebookexternalhit,pinterest,twitter

    2. Yes, the plugin is working with CloudFlare.

    3. Well, the plugin also has a list of ‘Bad Bots’ it is able to ban out of the box. If you wish, I can provide also a list of bad bots which are currently blocked, in private. You can also add a list of user agents of bots you wish to ban, however, I am not sure if the DMCA bots will have a specific user agent which identifies them, I checked this on the net and did not found any useful info on this. If you manage to find a way to find out the user agents of these bots, they can be added in the exclusion list of the plugin and it will be able to block them.
