      Hello, is there a way you can show me how to parse tables in wikipedia? I would like to just grab the tables if possible.  many thanks.

      First of all, thank you for your purchase.

      Please send me an example Wikipedia article from which you would like to extract the tables and I will check on this. Also, if possible, please let me know which tables would you like to get from the page (if not all tables are needed).

      Thanks for the quick reply. I am looking at pages similar to this Florida – Wikipedia and I would like to extract the largest cities table, among other tables as well. But also, I would like to parse sections from the wiki articles.

      Hello,

      I updated the plugin to v1.2.3, now you can set query selectors to grab precisely the content you wish to import from pages.

      In the latest update you will find the following settings fields (please set them to the below values, for the Florida Wikipedia page, to extract the table you mentioned):

      Content Query Type:
      XPath

      Content Query String:
      /html/body/div/div[43]

       

      To parse sections, please check this tutorial video for info on how to get the XPath expression, which needs to be entered in the ‘Content Query String’ settings field: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKrKq0vzHMY

      Unfortunately currently extracting a random part of the content is not possible, only predefined parts of the content.
