First of all, thank you for your purchase.

To remove the ‘Uncategorized’ category from newly created posts, please go to importing rule settings of the plugin, found in the ‘Top News to Posts’ or ‘Custom News to Posts’ plugin menu, depending on where you created your rules -> click ‘Settings’ for the rule you created -> check the ‘Remove WP Default Post Category‘ checkbox -> save settings.

Please note that this needs to be applied to all importing rules you created in the plugin and the change will apply only to posts which will be created after you make this settings change in the plugin.

I checked your site and here are my findings:

Regarding Newsomatic: the plugin imported the content which is available for the keywords you set in importing rule settings. I recommend you create new importing rules and set new keywords in search settings, so it will be set to import more posts (for more search queries). If you leave the settings as it is, the plugin will continue to import content to your site when new content will be indexed which will match the current keywords you set in rule settings.

Regarding Twitomatic: I see that the plugin is working and actively importing posts, please check: https://hailstormcars.com/de/wp-admin/admin.php?page=twitomatic_items_panel Posts Generated by this rule: 1788 – I ran importing and 100 posts where imported when I ran the rule.

Please note that the plugin will not run if you run it manually and it is already running by an automatic scheduling process, in this case, the yellow diamond will appear. However, once the automatic running is over, the plugin will be able to be run also manually.

Regarding the plugin activation, I was not able to check on this, as my user account is not super-admin (network wide admin), but only admin for the local sites. Please make the user account you shared with my to be network wide admin and I will be able to install/uninstall plugins in network admin menu and I check on this issue also.

I switched the following settings in importing rule settings, to enable custom attribute importing from RSS feeds:

Feed Parsing Method To Use:
Use Custom SimplePie Library

However, now I see that a new issue appeared in the importing process, as your WordPress site does not have enough memory to parse this specific RSS feed. The error is the following:

Out of memory (allocated 164528128) (tried to allocate 46038784 bytes)

To fix this issue, please contact your hosting provider’s support and ask them to increase the available memory for your website to 256Mb or 512Mb.

This should help solve this issue and correctly import more items from this RSS feed.

To parse the image and the podcast audio from this feed, you need to set up the plugin as follows:

in the plugin’s ‘Main Settings‘ menu:

Feed Item Custom Tag Names:
enclosure*url,itunes:image*href

-> save settings

Afterwards, please go to the rule you created for the above RSS feed, in the ‘RSS to Posts’ plugin menu and set:

Generated Post Content:
<img src=”%%custom_itunes:image*href%%”>
<br/><br/>%%item_content%%<br/><br/>
%%custom_enclosure*url%%

-> save settings and import new posts.
