I am building a website that will allow visitors to submit videos to be posted on our YouTube channel.
When a form is submitted on the website (including the video file) a post is created as a draft in WordPress and the video is embedded using the WordPress [video] shortcode.
However, when we publish these posts, the videos appear to go to our YouTube channel, but never finish importing. When we create a post from scratch (rather than the online form), then the videos go into YouTube correctly.

First of all, thank you for your purchase.
From how you described the issue, I think that the source of the problem is that the generated post from the form is not published, but kept as draft.
The plugin makes the publish video action on post publishing, and if this is missing, the video is not published.

Technically the post is in a “pending” status rather than a draft, which is ok.
When I actually “Publish” the pending post, I can see a placeholder for the new video appear in my YouTube channel, but it never finishes the import. It seems like something is failing when YouTubeOMatic is attempting to send this post to YouTube
