      Hello – can you help me resolve the issue below?

      When I use the attached file and try to generate an automatic post with the pdf plugin, I get the following error(s):

      • Tried to extract from pages: 34 – 96 thinking it would be possible to generate some good automatic medical posts from this content. [19-Jan-2021 23:58:05 UTC] Exception thrown while working with pdf: Pdf decoding error : PDF object extraction : backtrack limit reached (you may have to modify the pcre.backtrack_limit setting of your PHP.ini file, which is currently set to 1000000).

      Then, I tried to shorten the query thinking that perhaps the page range was too large for the plugin to handle (43  – 53) and I got the same error:

      • [20-Jan-2021 00:13:26 UTC] Exception thrown while working with pdf: Pdf decoding error : PDF object extraction : backtrack limit reached (you may have to modify the pcre.backtrack_limit setting of your PHP.ini file, which is currently set to 1000000).

      Lastly I tried with even shorter range: 46 – 56 and got the same error:

      I tried to attach the file. But, the file is large so it failed to load in the forums. You can access it from the link.

      Hello,

      First of all, thank you for your purchase.

      Please go to the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ menu and check the ‘Use Alternative Library For PDF Parsing’ checkbox. Afterwards try importing content from the pdf document again (please wait for a while the plugin to create the content, the importing time might be large in the case of this large PDF file). If importing gets stuck (the rule is running for a long period of time without any results, please click the ‘Clear Running Rule List’ button from the ‘Activity and Logging’ menu of the plugin to reset its state).

      If this version of importing is also not working for you, I recommend that you split up your large PDF file into smaller sections, and import them one by one. An example site that can be used for this, is the following: https://www.ilovepdf.com/split_pdf
