      Hi,

      I’m getting the error below.

      Although says Try Instagram login responds with –  Instagram Login Result: Login successful. The plugin will be able to publish posts to Instagram!

      Hello,
      I checked and it seems that Instagram is banning your server’s IP address, this is why the login is not working.
      As a solution, you can try using proxies in the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ -> ‘Web Proxy Address List’ settings field.

      Hi,

      Please I’m hoping we won’t need a refund. Please did you at least test a proxy address you know works to confirm this is the case?

      I doubt my server is being blocked by Instagram as it signs in successfully, see the screenshots I sent earlier.

      My server currently posts to Instagram on another plugin without proxies. FS poster is currently posting and it’s working. Not entirely sure the server is being blocked by Instagram, how else is FS poster still working on the same server?

      Thank you for the heads-up on this, however, FS Poster works the other way, it is using another endpoint of Instagram to submit posts to it, while my plugin uses a separate feature to import posts from Instagram.

      Or did I got this wrong and you were trying to use the autoposting feature of the plugin to Instagram?

      However, as I said, I double check on this.

      I see your point, FS Poster is posting, while yours is retrieving? Please can you recommend a proxy? I’ve tried some free proxies but it doesn’t sign in when I’ve put these proxies in. Please, I really want to make this work rather than a refund. I already use the other app and it’s amazing, I’m hoping to achieve success with this one too.

      Hello,

      I updated the plugin trying to unblock the limitation, by getting a Two Factor Authentication done.

      For this, you need to enter the ‘Account Email Address’, ‘Account Email Imap Server’ and ‘Account Email Password’ – the plugin will try to submit a two factor authentication.

      I’m hoping you’re happy to troubleshoot this and see if it’s working. My website is backed up, so I’m happy for you to see what you can do to get this working. You can even try your own credentials and email servers to see if it works, the logs may contain information about why it’s crashing.

      I’m keen for this to work as I’m looking to get the facebook and tiktok plugins too. I already told two other friends who I’m building news blogs for to buy this however I’ve said really nice things about your app, I don’t want to go back and tell them this one doesn’t work. We had a session last night where I convinced them that your apps are the only ones I trust to get information from the web and I had the go ahead to use them.

      Please, don’t give up, if you don’t work on weekends, I’m happy for you to look into this next week.

      Hello,

      I checked and it seems that the ‘imap_open()’ function is not available on your server. Please enable the imap_open functionality on your server, so the plugin will be able to use the email functionality of it. Please check details on this, here: https://phpadvices.com/install-or-enable-imap-extension-in-php/

      If you need help on this, please contact your hosting provider’s support and ask them to enable this functionality.

      I have a solution if you don’t mind exploring this. It’s mailgun.

      I am glad to be helpful.

      Regarding MailGun, as I see it, a new plugin should be implemented for this purpose, which would be able to receive emails from MailGun and also send new messages to it, based on its functionality shown in the above screenshots – using their webhooks.

      I will check on this feature and check the complexity of this idea, but currently I am fully booked with custom work and cannot take any more. However, if you wish to get started with this plugin, I can assign one of my associates to implement this project for you, let me know if you are interested.

      I have another idea. I’m looking at this setup and I believe the app is expecting a token from Instagram. How about providing an input box and the user needs to obtain the token sent from Instagram from their email and paste it in?

      We do this all the time for bank payments where your bank would send you a token via email or text and you’ll have to paste it in for verification within a few minutes? Paypal does this everytime too.

      You’ll just state that we’ll need to paste the token in within 60 seconds or however long the token is valid for.

      Also, I’ve checked my Instagram account and I don’t currently have two factor authentication configured. Does this mean I need to turn on two factor authentication? If yes, for the purpose of the above, would it be better to use text message or auth app?

      Also, I’ve check my emails from Instagram and realised there’s been no two fact related email at all in the last few weeks. Please see attached.

      Ok, in this case lets scrap the idea of using the mail server, as it is also pretty hard to set up.

      Lets try to go with cookie values. I installed a new version of the plugin on your site, now you will find in the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ menu -> ‘Instagram SeesionID Cookie Value’ settings field. Please add the sessionid cookie value from your Instagram account there and check if it is working.

      Please be sure to not log out of Instagram, just close your browser.

      Only media by URL works at the moment. The others aren’t currently working.

      Thanks, I meant the only thing that worked was for specific links, all other options don’t currently work.

      Ok, another attempt on this, I added also the ability to set full cookie strings, you can do it in the ‘Instagram Cookie String’ settings field, from the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ menu.

      You should enter the cookie string exported from your Instagram account, in the following format:

      mid=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; ig_did=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; datr=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; dpr=1; shbid=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; shbts=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; csrftoken=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; sessionid=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; rur=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

      Thanks. If this doesn’t work. We’ll leave it. Thanks so much for trying. Your work ethic is really amazing. I may not be able to use this in the end, I’ll come back and buy Newsomatic in the near future. I would like to try it out to see what it does.

      Just bought newsomatic, still figuring out if there is any advantange over RSS echo or have I just purchased two similar plugins?
