Hi Szabi, please note I got this email from the ticketmaster affiliate program. Can you confirm the links generated via tmomatic are still valid? Thanks for your support.

      Hi there,

Hope this message finds you well.

We are contacting you with an urgent request regarding your current Ticketmaster tracking links, which could potentially be out of date and therefore resulting in lost clicks and sales, as well as a poor user journey experience.

As part of the migration at the end of ’25 we moved to a consolidated global link structure. This involved migrating to a unified tracking domain across all Ticketmaster markets. At the time of this migration, we recommended that all partners move to a new tracking structure and if using our feed, to also refresh all links. It was also communicated however that Impact had put redirects in place on any old links to ensure they continued to work for those who were not able to refresh their links.

Since the closure of our old accounts in the last few days, it has come to our attention that some of these redirects are failing – this is under urgent investigation.

Whilst we work on a fix, we wanted to reiterate how critical it is to refresh all the Ticketmaster links you’re using in your site/app/marketing if this has not been done pre 2026, to ensure optimum visibility and sales tracking, For those creating manual links (either using Impact’s link generator, or appending your tracking manually), the same applies and should ideally be updated based on the new standardised tracking from the feed.

See pages 22-23 of our Onboarding Guide on how to ensure your developer portal account is set up correctly to pull our product feed.

Appreciate there is a lot if information to take in here as well as to action, we can only apologise for the inconvenience but want to ensure there is no disruption for your users as well as make sure all your sales activity is tracking correctly.

Any questions off the back of this email please reach out directly to us on affiliatepartners@ticketmaster.com

      Many thanks,

      Ticketmaster Affiliate Team

      Hello,

Thank you for letting me know of this change, I was not aware of it.

I updated the plugin to v1.2.0, added Impact Radius support for it, also a link migration tool for existing content, check it, I hope it helps.

      Regards,
      Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Thanks for the immediate support, as always.

I have updated the plugin and I have two quick questions:

Will the newly created posts have correct tracking if I leave the Main Setting’s Affiliate Link Mode:

Use Discovery API links as-is (recommended)?

I ask this because the redirect seems to be still working fine on the existing links in my legacy posts.

If I see a change in behavior and decide to switch the setting to Wrap links with my Impact tracking template, do you think I would have to add a specific template to each ticketmaster regional partner I am affiliated with, or do you think the generic ticketmaster url would work?

I understand these questions might not be of your competence, let me know if this is the case, thanks.

      Regards

      Leopoldo

      Hello,

      1. If you leave Affiliate Link Mode set to Use Discovery API links as-is, the plugin will use the links returned directly by the Ticketmaster Discovery API/feed. So newly created posts should be as correct as the data Ticketmaster provides through their API. This will continue to work, but if you have also an Impact affiliate account, you can switch directly to using it and wrapping the links in Impact tracking, as this is the new method they promote now.

      2. If you switch to Wrap links with my Impact tracking template, then the plugin will force the Ticketmaster event URL through your Impact tracking link. I think that one generic Impact template should work, as long as it accepts the final Ticketmaster URL as the destination/deep link parameter.

My recommendation is to test both approaches, to see if both work for you well and go with Impact if it works ok for you.

      Regards,
      Szabi – CodeRevolution.
