Icarus Redirection Issues

      Icarus is redirecting incorrectly even after a rule has been changed, deactivated or deleted.

      I created Rule 1 to redirect /1/ to /a/.

      Then, I created Rule 2 to redirect /w/ to /z/; /k/; /p/ (random) redirect on the second rule.

      Icarus began redirecting Rule 2 to /a/. It continued to do so no matter what browser I used on the mobile device. I tried: (1) clearing cache on mobile device browser; (2) deactivating the rule on Icarus; and, (3) deleting the rule entirely. Still, the url is redirecting to /a/. I have checked all other rules, no overlap. This is a mystery as to how Rule 2 wants to redirect to a destination that no longer exists.

      I also notice changes on Icarus are neither immediate nor reasonably immediate. This makes redirection timing unpredictable. There is no caching plugin or other redirection on this site.

      This is happening on a multi-site installation. I could really use some help with this.

      Hello,

      First of all, thank you for your purchase.

      I tried to reproduce the issue you encountered, by following the steps you described, but for me, redirection in the plugin worked. Because of this, I think that the issue you found is somehow related to your current website settings like your current theme or other plugins that are active on your blog.

      Hello Szabi,

      Thank you for the prompt reply. I have been unable to reproduce the problem again. I unchecked one of the settings and it seems to have corrected the problem, though it’s not clear whether there is a direct relationship to that setting. I do not remember which setting it was.

      We will keep an eye out for this issue in case it reappears. For now it seems all is ok.
