craigomatic image is very small and only 1 image?

      Hi,

      The image that is being saved is only 300×228 where as the source listing shows an image of 600×450.

      Additionally, only 1 image is being pulled where as I would expect all the images to be scraped.

      If you check the Craigslist URL that is used in the plugin:

      https://vancouver.craigslist.org/search/cta?query=tesla&srchType=T&hasPic=1&bundleDuplicates=1&format=rss&s=25

      You will see that it returns images like this example:

      https://images.craigslist.org/00h0h_Lbm4l31Pk7_300x300.jpg

Unfortunately, the Craigslist API provides the plugin with this image only.

      However, you can import full content of the listing (including full size images), if you check the ‘Try To Get Full Content’ checkbox from importing rule settings.

      Please note that this will cause 1 additional page download for each imported listing, so it will greatly increase importing time.

      Also, one more thing: to add all images in the post content, you have to add the %%item_show_all_images%% shortcode in the ‘Generated Post Content’ settings field -> save settings -> import new posts.

      This is working to pull additional images however the images that are being pulled are hotlinked from craigslists server.

      That’s going to cause problems no?

       

      Additionally, the featured image is still being populated from the low res image not the high resolution full content pics.

      All I really need / want is 1 high resolution image for the featured image.

      Hi, I see the new option auto-set Featured image however it doesn’t appear to be working?

      Example:

      https://www.idriveelectric.com/advert/2016-tesla-model-x-p90d-7-passenger-ludicrous-mode-msrp179k-call-text-andrew-778-554-8895-99888/

      This was imported in the last 10 mins with that feature set.

      Hello,

      As mentioned in previous comment, you have to check the ‘Try To Get Full Content’ checkbox from importing rule settings (for each rule) – if you wish to get the high resolution image for ads.

      Ah okay so both “Try To Get Full Content:” and “Auto Get Featured Image” need to be checked. Will try that.
