Admin panel page takes time to load and High resource usage

      Hi,

      Thanks for the awesome plugin. I am on a shared hosting environment. I have configured the plugin to fetch news using the cron job. It works but then my hosting provider suspends my account due to high resource usage.

      Also the admin panel page is taking time to load : wp-admin/admin.php?page=newsomatic_items_panel

      Hello,

      First of all, thank you for your purchase.

      Can you send me, please, more details about how many importing rules you set up in the plugin? Also, please tell me about how often did you set up the cron to run importing.

      To try to fix the long page load time, please go to the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ -> check the ‘Do Not Check Generated Posts In Rule Settings’ checkbox -> save settings. Let me know if this helped.

      Hi,

      Doing ‘Main Settings’ -> check the ‘Do Not Check Generated Posts In Rule Settings’  solved the slow page loading problem!

       

      Now,

      I am running a cron job at every 15 minutes :

      */15 * * * * wget -q -O – https://news247planet.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron >/dev/null 2>&1

      I am attaching the screenshot of the rules also.

      I would suggest increasing the time after which the cron runs – you should replace the 15 minute run time with a 1 or 2 hour run time. This will make the plugin use up fewer resources and not have issues with hosting limitations.

      It looks like replacing the cron time from 15 minutes to 1 hours has solved the problem.
