I see what was going on. You’re now a super-admin (login link WP sent was from the base domain, which your user couldn’t access).

Thus you can either login at slap10-com/wp-admin (base) or buzzbeatmag.com/wp-admin with your user.

Make sure to use those URL’s. Cheers.

I tried the API key you gave and it failed with this error:

[31-Dec-2021 20:29:08 UTC] Unrecognized NewsAPI response: url: https://newsapi.org/v2/top-headlines?apiKey=d76e207d80a44c9a88e6b469833bdccb&pageSize=10&category=music&country=us

When I commented “it should work” I was unfortunately referring to the registration error message 😉

I had to enable registration in network admin for the multisite.

You should have received an email from wordpress installed on slap10.com (multisite). The domain you have admin access to is: https://buzzbeatmag.com/wp-admin/

I’ve now got a newly generated API key installed, and have registered the purchase code on the domain (as seen in screenshot), but am seeing this in the activity log:
