G’day and thanks for tip Szabi!

That’s a thorough crawl the API performs and does make perfect sense.

I guess one thing I don’t understand is why the API gets out-of-context articles (4) but not so many in-context articles (1).  In Australia right now for the nominated news sites and my various search words, there’s endless news that we’d love the API to get, but the API isn’t picking these up.  Is there some other trick I’m overlooking?

Thanks for expert assistance!   Yikes, you spotted my mistake better than me.  Thanks for fixing that in main settings.

Thanks also for updating my plugin to v3.0.0.2

For source, I am now working with ANY, but if I choose to select a specific source such as ABC Australia, it does save – awesome.

At this stage, I still get yellow diamonds.  It may need some more time for new news to be forthcoming.  If you don’t mind, I’ll circle back to you if I’m still stuck later this week.

Thanks for stellar support!  I was happy to login to WordPress and see it was running your new latest version.  I was able to get your API easily, too, and all is running well now.  Cheers and thanks – appreciated … looks like you’ve put lots of hours in to all this!
