Hello,
Well, indeed, the AI writer can be unpredictable in some cases. I suggest you experiment with different settings of the plugin, to see which suits your current website setup the best.
I suggest you go with ‘Protect HTML Tags in Edited Text’ also unchecked and add specific info to the AI editor’s prompt, so it will not edit any HTML tags, only the content which is rendered and visible to the user, after rendering the HTML content of the text.
Also, yes, the character count includes also HTML tags.

Thank you for these suggestions.
1. Noted, will be thinking on how to achieve this. It is a bit tricky, as images are added to posts before the posts are actually created in WordPress, but will be working on a solution for this.

I noted now also your suggestion to generate content also based on images.
3. This is already possible, please go to the ‘Bulk AI Post Creator’ menu -> create a rule -> click ‘Select an Action’ on the right of the rule -> click ‘Duplicate this rule’.

The characters you found are one of the methods the plugin uses to fool AI detectors (to make the content not be penalized by search engines and be flagged as AI content).
To disable these hidden methods, please go to the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ menu -> ‘General Settings’ tab -> check the ‘Don’t Try To Fool AI Detectors (Disable Content Tricks)‘ checkbox -> save settings.

I will try to reproduce the missing conclusion issue, but so far, during my testing, I got a conclusion each time, not sure when does this happen more exactly. If you have more info, let me know.
Regarding adding a link to Google which is clickable, you need to add in the prompt sent to the AI that it should add a clickable HTML link to google.com in the content it generates.
You can do this by adding this info in the ‘Content Prompt’ settings field in rule settings (if you are using topic based posting method, in AI Bulk Post Creator).
