Hello,
If you enable the ‘Try To Get Full Article Content’ option, the plugin will scrape the article from Medium and try to automatically detect the readable content from the scraped HTML content. This can be imperfect in some cases, as you pointed it out. I will look into improving this algorithm, however, because Medium does not have a precise structure in their HTML content for posts, this is a bit tricky.
This feature was added only for those publications which do not have full content added in the response which Medium returns for the initial API call, however, this is not the case for the publication you are using, so, I recommend you uncheck the ‘Try To Get Full Article Content’ checkbox.
Also, to remove the unwanted part of the page, I recommend you also add in rule settings, the settings from below:

First of all, thank you for your purchase.
This error appears when a new functionality is added in the plugin and you haven’t saved the settings in the plugin yet, to assign a value to the new functionality.
So, to solve this issue, simply save the settings in the plugin when this appears (without changing anything) and the error will disappear.

First of all, thank you for your purchase.
To link posts directly to the provider’s site instead of a post page, please do as follows:
1. Go to the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ menu -> check the “Enable the ‘Link Generated Post Titles To Source Articles’ Feature” checkbox -> save settings.
2. Go to importing rule settings, in the ‘RSS to Post Rules’ menu -> click ‘Settings’ for the rule you wish to edit -> check the ‘Link Generated Post Titles To Source Articles’ checkbox -> save settings -> import new posts (please note that this will be applied only to newly generated posts).

Currently, the plugin will generate new posts or pages, based on the keywords and settings you add in its settings. The plugin is currently not integrated directly in Elementor, however, it can still create new posts and pages for Elementor, which can be edited after creation, using this page editore.

Yes, the plugin is able to automatically detect the featured images for posts scraped from most sites, however, from this specific website, you need to enter the query, as it has the featured image added only in an unusual and specific part of the website code.
So, this will not be needed to be added in most cases.

In case the site is down for all devices, I suppose you have to ask the VPS provider’s support about this issue, as it might be an issue from their part.
Please ask them if they limit the CPU usage on your VPS or if they have any other limitation, which if passed, your site is automatically taken down by them.

I understand now the issue you reported, sorry for the initial misunderstanding.
The site is down only for you (for the computer from where you launch the scraping process), as your computer is waiting for the connection to get a response from the scraper.
The site will still function for other connections, other people will be able to access your site.
Please check on this from other devices (computers, phones), they will be able to access your site, even when scraping is running.

Please try increasing the max_execution_time server settings to 10000, so your server will allow the plugin to run for longer periods of time. If you don’t know how to change this settings, please contact your server’s hosting provider’s support for help on this.
