Thanks for the update. So believe the plugin might be a good fit. How about creating or designing an actually working directory – can we import the data into a plugin? How do must people design these pages? can you share some examples or are some on the website? How can people filter or use the data in a way that makes sense for their visitors?

      Talk soon!

      Hello,

First of all, thank you for your purchase.

To order posts in a way that is searchable to users you should create a custom post type for recipes and add the posts created into that custom recipe post type. You can also create some custom post taxonomies and add the categories or tags of the recipes to them.

Adding instructions and ingredients into custom meta fields is also a useful thing to do for users.

You can achieve this using the CPUI plugin, it can easily create custom post types: https://ro.wordpress.org/plugins/custom-post-type-ui/

      I hope this info helps.

      Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Whats the most efficient way to scrape thousands of listings? If the limit is 50 per crawl gonna take sometime. 🙂

Well, unfortunately the 50 limit is set by the Yelp API, they are not allowing more recipes to be added in a single API response.

To get more recipes, the only option is to create more importing rules, each will run and import recipes separately.

      Regards.

      Wont that cause duplicates?

      No, the plugin filters duplicates.
