Hi sorry about that. The server was under high load. It looks like the login was timing out. I think one of my sites was under attack. I enabled under attack mode for that domain in Cloudflare and the load is normal now.
I tried the login and it is working now.

You also need to set up Echo RSS to import content from the RSS feed you created using the URL to RSS plugin. I made this config here: https://dev.10588.net/feed-test/wp-admin/admin.php?page=echo_items_panel&echo_page=1
Now posts are created: https://dev.10588.net/feed-test/wp-admin/edit.php?coderevolution_post_source=Echo_0&post_type=post

Hi, I noticed that when posts are created that contain an image gallery the images are linked to the external website. Is there a way I can have the images imported and hosted on my server?

Hello,
Please go to the Echo RSS plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ menu -> check the ‘Copy Images From Content Locally’ checkbox -> save settings -> import new posts.

Hi Szabi,
Thank you that worked great.
Is there a way to make a rule about the size of the images imported? Right now when I run echo it imports the thumbnail and the larger image, so I see two of the same image in the media library. I only want to import the larger image.
Thanks again,
Jason -
March 25, 2021 at 4:32 pm #2872
One of the images is the featured image of the posts. You can remove it by unchecking the ‘Enable Featured Image Importing’ checkbox in importing rule settings.
The other is an image contained in the content of the published post. You can remove it using the ‘Strip Images From Post Content’ checkbox from importing rule settings, in the Echo RSS plugin.

Ok, what I mean is if a gallery has 20 images then it will import 2 sizes of images 400px wide and 1200 px wide. Is there a way to keep it from importing the 400 px image?
Thanks,

Hi Szabi, I have done some further testing with Echo RSS Feed Post Generator Plugin.
What I am trying to accomplish is importing an image gallery and format that image gallery as a Justified gallery using Elementor. Currently, I accomplish this by using a custom gallery field and selecting images from the media library.
Elementor is also able to create dynamic galleries using image galleries and attached images from the content field from posts. I found the two settings in the echo plugin main setting which allow attaching images.
1. Add Images From Feeds As Post Attachments:
2. Append To Post Content A Gallery With Post Attachment Images:I have both of the settings enabled and I also tried them both enabled one at a time, but for some reason, the images are not attached. Could it be because the imported images are formated as an unordered list? Or do you think it is something else?

Hello,
I checked your site and it seems that for feed items that have multiple images in their content, the plugin is posting them as attachments to posts, please check this example: https://dev.10588.net/feed-test/wp-admin/post.php?post=3235&action=edit
Let me know if this post is created as you wanted. If yes, we will need to tweak feed settings, so it includes more images for scraper articles.
If the above URL is still not working well for you, please let me know details about what you wish to achieve, because I might still miss details about this.
Regards.

Can you try, please, adding the shortcode which lists media attachments from Elementor into the ‘Generated Post Content’ settings field from importing rule settings?
This should automatically list attachments for generated posts.
Regards.
-
March 27, 2021 at 4:46 pm #2887
I’m sorry I don’t understand. I am not sure where I can find this shortcode.
I checked >> RSS to Post Rules >> Settings for feed ID 0 >> Generated Post Content: >> (?)
I don’t see such a shortcode for %media attachments%
Also, I don’t know of an Elementor shortcode since Elementor is a page builder?
Thanks
-
March 27, 2021 at 5:44 pm #2888
I think you need a shortcode similar to this code:

-
March 27, 2021 at 6:07 pm #2889
Yes, it’s a good solution, but one problem which I mentioned before and I can show you now is duplicate images. The Custom Curated RSS feed plugin is downloading two image sizes. So now when the gallery is displayed by media file the gallery plugin will show both sizes.
Please check this link.
https://dev.10588.net/feed-test/serafina-nude-in-fashionista-2/I found this free plugin and it works very well for displaying galleries by media file. https://e-addons.com/elementor/query-media/

March 27, 2021 at 6:12 pm #2890
Please try unchecking the Copy Images From Content Locally” checkbox from the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ menu. Also, the ‘Copy Images From Content Locally’ checkbox from importing rule settings.
Let me know if this helped for newly generated posts.
Regards.
-
March 27, 2021 at 7:10 pm #2891
Hi,
I unchecking the Copy Images From Content Locally but it did not solve the issue.
- Because Elementor is unable to create an image gallery from external files as far as I can tell.
- I want to copy images locally.
I found the plugin I mention in my previous reply is not generating galleries dynamically when set to “media file”. So when I add a new post the images do not update. Looks like the images need to be attached to the post.
If you look at pippin’s code you will also see that the code is calling for an attachment. ‘post_type’ => ‘attachment’,
Thanks
-
March 27, 2021 at 7:21 pm #2892
Well, the plugin should already create attachment files to posts, are these not able to be used by Elementor?
-
March 27, 2021 at 8:14 pm #2893
So far I have not been able to get them to work.
The html shown in posts that I import do not have the image ids WordPress uses to indicate that an image is attached. This leads me to believe that the images are not attached.I only see the option “Add Images From Feeds As Post Attachments:” in the echo plugin settings. Should the option be in the Custom Curated plugin as well?
Thanks

Hi Szabi,
My goal is for my image galleries to look like the link below, formated as a justified image gallery. I need to be able to create thousands of these galleries. Please see the link.
https://www.elitebabes.com/dazzling-dame-enjoys-posing-and-flirting-for-the-camera-outdoor-50831/I have created a video to illustrate the issues I am facing and the possible solutions to fix them. Please watch the video. 4:30
https://dev.10588.net/feed-test/custom-curated-rss-feeds/
Issues & Solutions:
- Issue: When the Custom Curated RSS Feeds plugin pulls images into my server it downloads two image sizes; a thumbnail size and a full size. When I open the post and add the images to my custom gallery field I need to sort through the two image sizes which takes more time. Possible solution: Create a way to only import the large image size and not the thumbnail image. The next example would be the best solution if it could be implemented?
- Issue/Solution: If Custom Curated RSS Feeds plugin could pull in only the full-size image and not the thumbnail, and then attach the images to the post I would not have to do any further manual work. Please see the video for details.
Thank you

Something is not clear to me:
For imported posts, why are displaying different images on the front end of your site, than those images from the back end?
Example: this post has these images generated (back end): https://dev.10588.net/feed-test/wp-admin/post.php?post=3513&action=edit
While, the post on the front end, it is displaying another set of images (with duplicates): https://dev.10588.net/feed-test/?p=3513&preview=true
Also, regarding the video you sent, I was not able to play it (video stuck at 0:00): https://dev.10588.net/feed-test/custom-curated-rss-feeds/
Regards.

March 29, 2021 at 9:07 pm #2923
Hi Szabi,
The reason the images are not showing correctly is because of the Elementor gallery plugin I installed which is pulling images from the WordPress image gallery which are not attached. After adding or deleting Images the images shift in the gallery, so it’s not a good solution.
I have fixed the issue and added 3 images at the bottom which are image attachments. Please check the HTML for your reference. (back end)
https://dev.10588.net/feed-test/wp-admin/post.php?post=3513&action=editI have also edited the Elementor template to show the content pulled in from Custom Curated RSS Feeds plugin at the top, and I have added the 4 images as image attachments to the post which are in the gallery below.
I have uploaded the video to YouTube please see it here.

Hi Szabi,
Thank you so much for those changes.
Please make the following two changes to the plugin if you could.
- Change the image gallery from size-thumbnail (400px)>> size-medium (960px)
- If you click on an image, the image that opens is still in thumbnail size.
https://dev.10588.net/feed-test/lana-lane-nude-in-can-you-hear-the-music/ - Here is a test gallery with size-medium images and if you click on hem they will show a larger image.
https://dev.10588.net/feed-test/test-gallery/
- If you click on an image, the image that opens is still in thumbnail size.
- Please remove unused HTML from posts. The image at the top of the posts in list format.

Hello,
No need for the video, I understand your requests.
I removed the HTML from posts, however, the large image cannot be extracted from the source page, because of the structure of their HTML. The large image is not added in an image HTML tag, but inside a link HTML tag.
To get the full image, the plugin needs to be customized for you. I need to teach it to extract the full image from this site.
If you are interested, please check for details at my email kisded@yahoo.com

I made it blank because I thought you will create the gallery from the page builder. I added now the gallery back in the plugin settings, future posts will have it back again.
I am getting back to you in email now also.

Hi Szabi,
I installed the custom Echo RSS plugin you created for me on my production site. When I run the echo plugin the new posts are blank meaning no html is imported. So I am wondering if the plugin you sent was not the finished version?
I exported the settings from both the custom curated plugin and echo rss plugin from my test site and then imported them to my production site.
Thanks again for your time and help.

Hi Szabi, I have a question regarding post dates. I will copy and paste from code canyon comments because I need the same but the solution is not working for me.
Comment:
Hi, we run multiple feeds a day. How can we mix the posts up from the various feeds that run at the same time? We don’t want 10 posts in a row from the same source. We want to alternate. Thanks! You wrote:
An elegant solution for this is to set post <span class=”hilight”>dates</span> the same as the <span class=”hilight”>dates</span> of their original source post counterparts (import <span class=”hilight”>date</span> from source).
To enable this, please go to importing rule settings and click ‘Settings’ for the rule you wish to edit -> check the ‘Get Post Publish <span class=”hilight”>Date</span> From Feed’ checkbox -> save settings -> import new posts.
I have been trying to get the date from the posts but have been unsuccessful.
Here is a sample post. The post does not have a post date in the html.
https://www.elitebabes.com/skinny-young-angel-feels-free-while-posing-naked-outdoor-50827/If you go one level up the date is located right below the post image which can be seen here.
https://www.elitebabes.com/latest-mpl-studios/Is there a way to import these dates?
Kind regards,
Jason -
April 2, 2021 at 11:41 am #2952
Well, currently this would be possible only if the date would be added in the scraped page (not the page which is crawled for links). Unfortunately the plugin cannot associate the dates from the main page with the links because currently there is no way to get data from pages that are crawled for links (more than the actual links that are crawled).
I noted this, will be thinking for a way to get data also from the source page, if I find a way, I add this in future updates.
Regards.
