I love using your service, it is really amazing what it can do.

I’m just concern that I am not setting up my Echo RSS Support properly and would like to prevent being penalized for publishing duplicated content.

My understanding is to have the ‘<b>Add “rel=canonical” Meta Tag To Generated Posts (Global):</b>’ turned on in the Main Settings page. I hope I am right to assume that this item does NOT need to be checked in each of the ‘RSS to Post Rules’ since it is global.

Could you let me know if there are other settings I MUST turn on or configure for best practice when it comes to not getting penalized?

      – Thank you

      Hello,

First of all, thank you for your purchase.

Yes, this settings field will enable globally (for all rules) the rel=canonical meta tag, which will help with SEO.

Also, you can take multiple approaches with the content creation, you can create posts only with article snippets and read more links to source or, you can create full content posts, without linking back to source, however, in this case, you will also need to use an article spinner service to rewrite articles and make them unique. Supported premium spinners in the plugin are SpinRewriter, The Best Spinner, WordAI, SpinnerChief. You can also summarize content using TLDRThis.

      I hope this info helps.

      Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

I see.  Those are all great suggestions.

But if I go the route of direct importing the full article each time, is it safe practice enough to enable the re=canonical meta tag? or is there more I should do?

Yes, this is also an option, but will provide a bit lower seo results.
