The schedule is set to one hour, and the info tab shows the feed is clearing, however the feed is not grabbing the new stories when it runs. Any idea how I can fix this issue?

      Hello,

First of all, thank you for your purchase.

I suspect that the issue is with WordPress’ feed caching, as it is keeping the feed data for a period of time, before it will refresh it. The default cache time is 12 hours. You can change timeout as shown here: https://amandagiles.com/blog/code-snippets/updating-wordpress-rss-feed-cache-time/

      Regards,

Is there no way for the plugin to work without implementing code? The setting in the plugin doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to without it?

There is an alternative. Please go to the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ -> set the ‘WordPress Feed Refresh Interval’ settings field to 3600 -> save settings.

This might also help solve this problem.

      Regards.

I set that, but it still does not seem to be pulling from the feed. The original feed is on the same website, and it’s updating without issue. It’s only the feeds created with this plugin that are not updating with the new stories. I’d like to avoid adding extra php code if possible, as that would require us to hire a developer at a very high cost. That should be the last resort. I would really prefer to have your plugin work the way it’s supposed to, especially considering it is a paid plugin, and should work properly out of the box.
