in the rule settings for the rss feed i have enabledEnable featured image importing and replace article image with royalty free image.
also on the main plugins settings i made sure to click the boxes for <b>Try to Get Featured Image from Content:</b>
and made sure to put all the correct info in for the api. however after a post is generated the actual featured image from the post still shows.
i have tried many times but nothing seems to work. any ideas?

Thank you so much, I’m having a strange occurrence tho because I have a plugin that auto post to Twitter and it seems it uses the RSS feeds featured image still.
i put a screenshot in the attachments below.
however the royalty free pic is now displayed correctly on my website I’m thankful for that.
any ideas why the feed uploads the feeds image?
is there a way I can have it downloaded the royalty free image instead?

Well, Twitter uses the og meta tags to get the image it is sharing.
Can you send me, please, an example post from your site which was shared with the wrong image, so I can check its meta tags?
Regards.

I checked the post URL you linked and it seems that you are using RankMath plugin to create the og:image tags and also have your theme set up to create the same tags, because of this, it is duplicate in the HTML code of your page.
I would recommend doing some experiments on this part, first disabling the og:image meta creation from your theme (if you find a settings for this – if not, I suggest asking the theme support about this).
Afterwards, if this did not work, I recommend doing the same with RankMath, disabling og/twitter meta tags creation in their settings + contacting their support if this will not help.
The Twitter images are coming from these og/twitter meta tags, so you need to check which one is not linking correctly to debug this issue.
Let me know if this helped.
Regards.

thank you for the reply,
after further investigation my theme and two other plugins was causing the issue. After disabling og meta tag’s I have noticed the royalty pics on my website have been working great however on twitter it either show’s no image or uses the original image from rss feeds source.
I was wondering was there a way to upload the royalty image and set that as a featured image on the post during curation?

I believe once the royalty image is uploaded to the media and autoset’s to featured image that would fix this issue maybe?

Hello,
Please check the ‘Draft Posts First, And Publish Them Afterwards‘ checkbox from the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ and try publishing content again.
Let me know if this helped.
Regards.
