I am new to the Newsomatic API for WordPress. I can’t find a way to prefill the WordPress Subtitle field when Newsomatic creates a post automatically. I see how the title, post, and extract fields can be pre-filled with static information, or variable information, using shortcodes. However, I am not able to find a field on the API’s “Main Settings” page or the “Top News to Posts” settings page. Can you please explain how I can fill the WordPress subtitle automatically from Newsomatic? I understand how to work with the title, but I thought there would be a subtitle input field right below the title input field on the “Top News to Posts” settings form.

First of all, thank you for your purchase.
The post subtitle feature is not a WordPress standard feature, but it is a functionality which is provided by your theme. Because of this, the Newsomatic plugin does not have a settings field for it. However, if the subtitle is stored by your theme in a custom field or custom taxonomy, the plugin will be able to add content to it.
Please contact your theme’s support and ask them how they store the data from the post subtitles, in the back end of WordPress. Ask them also how you can automatically add content to the subtitle field from a plugin. Please get back to me with this information.
