      Hi

I am trying to set up the custom domain rule to pull all articles from my publication, using Medium To Posts function. It can be found here.  https://cryptozoa.com/

I have followed the instructions to tick the box if its a custom domain, but it never works this way. Here is the log info.

[4-Feb-2022 05:25:19 UTC] Error in parsing Medium feed (custom method): cURL error 22: The requested URL returned error: 404 for https://medium.com/feed/@https://cryptozoa.com/!

If I try it without the tick, I can only retrieve the last 10 posts. This is not what I want, I want to pull all of them. I accept this can only be done max 10 articles at a time, that is fine. I just want to build a backup of all articles over time, including the previous ones.

Please can you advise the best way to achieve my requirements of pulling all articles from my publication, over time. Thank you.

      Hello,

First of all, thank you for your purchase.

Thank you for letting me know of the issue with custom domains, I just fixed this in the latest plugin update: v2.0.2.1

However, I read that you wish to import also older content from Medium sites. This is unfortunately not possible at the moment using the Mediumomatic plugin, because the Medium API is not offering this functionality.

If you wish to import older content, I can recommend direct web scraping, using another plugin I created – Crawlomatic. Please check it here: https://1.envato.market/crawlomatic – it can be set to crawl websites for links and to scrape content from the links found on the targeted websites.

      Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
