      Two images are getting posted. I only want the one within the post after the headline. And since I am extracting the full post, I don’t require the Read More button.

      I somehow deleted the post. I unchecked Get Featured Image option, and it worked.

      How to delete the Read More button? I unchecked “link to original source” option and also put a space inside the Read More button text option since it defaults to “read more”. But it just shows a button with a space in place of a text.

      Also, every image shows a bit of descriptive text and credit beneath it. How to deactivate that?

      Somehow the replies via email didn’t come in. So, the metadata is probably getting imported in the language of the news. Especially open graph data. How to solve that?

      Hello,

      To solve this, please check the ‘Disable Post Excerpt‘ checkbox in importing rule settings, for all rules you have set up in the plugin -> save settings -> import new posts.

      And also how do I keep the translation and spinning separate? Say, for one rule, I want to translate but I don’t want to spin, and for another rule, I don’t need translation but I would like to spin it. How do I achieve this?

      Hello,

      If you wish to get new sources into the plugin, please send me the site URLs and I will add them to the API, however, they will not be private, but public.

      Regarding spinning, you can use the ‘Do Not Spin/Translate Posts Generated By This Rule’ checkbox from importing rule settings to disable spinning of the content generated by a specific rule.

      However, if you wish to spin/translate rules separately, this is currently not possible, but I have this in my update ideas list for the plugin, I will add a feature to enable separate spinning/translation to the plugin in an upcoming update (probably next week).

      And how do I import only one or two categories from a whole news site? Is that doable?

      Hello,

      I added the sources to the API.

      Regarding category importing from specific sources, this is currently not possible, you can import content from sites based on keyword query searches. I have the category importing feature from specific sources as a future update plan for the plugin.

      Okay, eagerly waiting for those updates then.

      BTW these sources are not showing up in the Top News to Posts or Custom News to Posts sections. How do I add them?

      Please go to the plugin’s ‘Activity and Logging’ menu and click ‘Refresh News Sources’. They will begin importing content in about 24 hours.

      Hello,

      Please check latest update of the Newsomatic plugin (v3.1.5) – rules will contain a checkbox to skip spinning called ‘Do Not Spin Posts Generated By This Rule’.

      You can activate translation for rules using the ‘Automatically Translate Content To’ settings field from importing rule settings.

      This will enable separate spinning and translating for rules.
