      Hi Szabi,

Firstly thank you for this great plugin have been enjoying the experience that I have thus far.

Please I would like to suggest something that you may consider for an update to your newsomatic plugin. Please if it is possible can you please make exclusions to keywords that may appear in articles so that when the request is made the resultant article could be more accurate. I have noticed that sometimes when you setup requests for certain articles to appear sometimes the result will come up with different articles because I want to focus on business and technology on my website and sometimes I receive articles will produce celebrity and sports news and also news that is not relevant to the specific country that I was trying to point the request to.

So I think if you can have a keyword exclusion section in the settings of the custom news as well as top news it would be beneficial to all users. If it is already in the plugin please may you direct me to where in the plugin I can find it. Please send a screenshot so that I can find it easily without having to always come to ask.

Thank you for the support and looking forward to your speedy response.

      regards

      Kizo1

      Hello,

First of all, thank you for your purchase.

Yes, adding a list of excluded keywords is already possible, please find this feature in the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ menu -> ‘Banned Words List’ settings field. This is a global settings and will apply to all importing rules.

This feature will enable the plugin to not include posts which have title or content which contains at least one of these words. Separate words by comma.

Also, please note that this will filter articles returned by the API (not query the API by these negative keywords). This means that if the keywords are not met, the returned articles from the API will be skipped.

      Regards,
      Szabi – CodeRevolution.
