Hello,
Actually Google Ads use a tool they call the Google Consent Mode, it works with the Google Tag Manager and need a Cookie Manager extension / tool who is installed on the site like Fortune Cookie Consent Policy &.. whatever cms.
The cookie manager simply send the data when customer agree to the cookie policy or not to google by using Google Tag Manager.
Actually, there is some CMP “Consent Management Platform” who are starving money only because they have this functionality who send the visitor consent to google ads / and soon facebook ads, snapchat, and other will follow I think. They litteraly charge us on how many page we want to implement the user consent tracking or how many visitor we have monthly.
My question after this long explication is , is Fortune Cookie compatible with Google Ads Consent Mode, by sending user consent choice to G Ads by firing tag with Google Tag Manager.

You know you have a huge market offering to you , if you can offer this compatibility with Google Ads Consent Mode, you can easily X3 you price & i’m pretty sure you will sell a lot when I see how shit like Cookiefirst , usercentrics, axeptio, starving money with monthly subcription that is not adapted for the majority.

First of all, thank you for your purchase.
Thank you for letting me know if this possible feature which can be implemented to the Fortune Cookie Consent Policy plugin. I checked it and indeed, the idea seems to be good, however, it will also need a plugin to be installed on your site which will add the Google Analytics code to it, and afterwards, my plugin can come in to edit Google Analytics settings. Still more research is needed on this part, will check on this soon.

I’m not a professionnal but after some work on Google Tag Manager I think this part can be managed with it. For example actually I use Google Analytics 4 but I don’t have any google analytics script or plugin on my website because everything is fired and loaded by the Gtag.js gtm script in either. When a visitor come to my site and do a purchase for exemple or another action like scrolling a page, the gtag.js detect it, retrieve some available data from the datalayer furnished GTM4WP plugin and send it to Google Analytics 4.

Maybe your talking about develop a similar plugin like GTM4WP but for the User Consent ?
After all I didn’t have the view of a developper and that’s pretty possible that I say some error before.
