I have followed the steps in the video tutorial for Fbomatic to import posts from our fb page and there are no imported posts.
I am confused because the tutorial says to create an app, but the plugin page gives an id and secret we should use if we want to import posts from any fb page.
I have tried with that given info and with the same from a created app. Neither work.

Thank you. A few more questions.
While I see some short codes listed in the plugin details. It does not see where to input those shortcodes. It says you can put them in any field that accepts shortcodes, but how am I supposed to know which fields accept shortcodes? How am I supposed to know which field to use for which shortcode?
specifically, I need to ensure the posts that are imported from facebook are in the right order of dates so as to be current and not randomly showing stuff from six months ago as the latest post.
Also, despite removing comments from the posts, there is still a line that says “O comments” after the post title. i need to remove that. It looks like no one interacts with our contact when in reality we have just disabled comments.
Also, it says “Categories: Blog” after the title. I’d like to remove that.

Shortcodes can be used in post content, or in widgets, but for this, you will need to enable shortcodes in widgets, like this: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-use-shortcodes-in-your-wordpress-sidebar-widgets/
Regarding the removal of comment and category texts, there are not created by the plugin, but by your current theme. If you wish to get help with this, I can make the changes, but as a paid service. If you are interested in this, please contact me for details at kisded@yahoo.com
