facebook to post with category forr imported posts

I checked the plugin on your website and I found the issue in it. I updated it and solved it in the latest version.

However, it seems that your theme is not listing correctly the posts from a specific category, because still no items are showing up here: https://www.koalition-der-freien-szene-berlin.de/category/facebook-feed/ – however, posts are available in the facebook-feed category.

This should be discussed with the developer of your theme, because he will be able to fix this issue.

This content is imported for some of the posts, because Facebook responds with this content and with nothing else.

Because of this, the plugin cannot exactly tell that these posts are not actual posts, but just comment related data from Facebook.

To skip these posts, I can suggest that you try using the ‘Minimum Content Word Count’ settings field from the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’. Setting this to 5, for example, will not import posts that have less than 5 words in their content, like this, these posts will be skipped.

Please check the ‘Remember Last Posted Item And Continue Search From It’ checkbox from importing rule settings, this will enable the paging feature for posts, and will allow you to import more posts with subsequent rule runnings (per page, Facebook displays 7-10 posts at max).

If you uncheck this checkbox, the plugin will import only the latest posts from the page.

To import the latest posts from a Facebook page, when configuring importing in the plugin, please uncheck the ‘Remember Last Posted Item And Continue Search From It’ checkbox.

If you check this, the plugin will remember the location of the last imported post, and at it’s next running, it will import older posts, starting from where it left on last run.
