I recently purchased the plugin on CodeCanyon with the expectation that I would be able to update it at any time and only purchase additional support if I needed it. I understand that the plugin requires ongoing development and support, but changing it to a subscription-based model right after my purchase feels unfair.

To be honest, it feels almost misleading, because had I known about this upcoming change, I would not have bought it. On CodeCanyon I expected lifetime updates, as this is usually the standard there.

The new subscription model makes the plugin unattractive and too expensive for me. I’m quite frustrated, especially since I bought it only recently. I would prefer to receive a refund so I can look for another plugin that better fits my expectations.

      Hello,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused, I really understand your frustration. As CodeCanyon has really big problems with sales recently, my options were to stop working on the plugin and to find a job where I would be paid a monthly salary or to switch the plugin to a subscription model and to continue working on it.

Please make a refund request for it here: https://codecanyon.net/refund_requests/new

      Regards,

      Hello Szabi,

Thank you for your explanation. I understand the situation, but since I purchased the plugin expecting lifetime updates, the switch to a subscription model makes it unsuitable for me. I will submit a refund request as suggested.

Thank you very much. I was really looking forward to using the plugin, but unfortunately, it is too expensive for me this way. After the subscription disaster with Adobe, I now avoid any kind of subscription model.
