Hi, how do I do a complete clean re-install of the newsomatic plugin? I tried deactivating, deleting, and the reinstall of the plugin, but the plugin and rule settings stays the same as before the reinstallation?
The reason I’m asking is that on the newsomatic plugin settings page, under plugin options, I chose at first to leave the “Draft Posts First, And Publish Them Afterwards:” unchecked, to let it publish right away, but then I changed my mind and want the feeds to go directly to the draft setting instead. For some reason, it’s not functioning right. Feeds are still going to publish first even though I changed it to go to draft instead.

Thank you for your question.
To draft posts, please go to importing rule settings from the plugin’s ‘Top News to Posts’ or ‘Custom News to Posts’ menu -> set “Moderate – Draft” in the ‘Post Status’ settings field, for the rules you wish to edit.
Also, please uncheck the “Draft Posts First, And Publish Them Afterwards:” checkbox from the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’.
Regarding clean installs, I noted this, I will add this functionality in the next major update for the plugin that I will release.

I am glad to hear that it works.
The use of the ‘Draft Posts First, And Publish Them Afterwards:‘ checkbox is to work around an issue if you are using some on site social network auto-publishing plugins, which might not be able to display featured images in some cases.
Featured images in WordPress are added after the post is published and this works around this issue, creates the posts as draft, ads the featured images to them and publishes the post afterwards.
This might not be useful in your case, so you can leave it unchecked.
