I made this feature request in the comments on Codecanyon:
Feature suggestion
Can you add a feature that allows chatbots to chat about the content of a YouTube video?
e.g. The user enters a link of a YT video then the chatbot extracts the transcript of the video then starts a chat. It looks like you have already created most of this functionality.
You responded with this comment:
Hello,
Thank you for your purchase.
This is already possible, using the ‘YouTube Video Captions’ Extension of the chatbot. Please check this tutorial video for details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vd4OLPa4RD4
Let me know if this helped.
I tried it but it doesn’t seem to work.
See the chat in the attached screenshot.

Hello,
I checked the settings of the plugin and you used the ‘gpt-3.5-turbo-instruct’ model in the chatbot, which does not support the function calling feature. I changed it now to gpt-4o, which is a recent model which supports also extensions. Please check this functionality using this model, as it should work now.

The extension seems to be working correctly in the admin of the “chatbot builder” but when I paste the shortcode into a front-end page it doesn’t work. See the attached screenshots. This is the page using the short code: <span class=”link-annotation-unknown-block-id–518376559″>https://gigalearner.com/language/demo-yt-gutenberg/</span> <!– notionvc: 9a1fdb12-4ac0-4faa-be22-fa8f8b63f58c –>

Please set the ‘Enable Chatbot Extensions (God Mode)’ settings field to ‘Enabled’ in the chatbot builder and recopy the created shortcode and use it in your front end page.
Regards.
