      Our Feed: https://www.liebenzell.org/?feed=lm_extern_mission_weltweit

We have from time to time a “ ” in the title of news from our own website. We try to avoid it but it happens because many people with different computers (PC/MAC) work together here and write news.
But the “ ” in the title of the news always cause problems. Good to see here: https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.liebenzell.org%2F%3Ffeed%3Dlm_extern_mission_weltweit#l51

      or in the attached screenshot.

Is there a way to automatically replace the “ ” with something else (ideally a normal gap)? If so, how does that work?

      With kind regards,
      Sascha Reinhardt

      Hello,

First of all, thank you for your purchase.

Please provide more details about which plugin are you using to render this feed. Do you use the Echo RSS plugin to import posts from the feed to your site and want to get rid of the nbsp tag inside post titles?

Or do you use the URL to RSS plugin to create the feed you linked and you want to remove the nbsp tag from imside the feed titles?

Let me know details on this, thank you.

      Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

First of all I want to thank you for your work on the plugin! It’s great and I hope it will support us well for a long time.

Short Answer: We use: Echo RSS Feed Post Generator to generate a RSS-FEED with one or more categories.

      Long Answer:
We use your plugin to generate single RSS feeds from our very many news.
For example all news of the category “church” or as in my example all news of the category “mission_worldwide”.
We then make these RSS feeds available for various purposes. One of them is the use in our fig. There I can subscribe again to a RSS feed and let the news articles increase. See here: https://heartbeat.liebenzell.org/news There you can see all news that belong to the category church. Here we also had the problem with the HTML code instead of blank space in the title. I could only solve the problem by editing the title. I have solved the problem manually. But I need best an automatic solution. If your plugin doesn’t have it yet, we are willing to pay for the customization.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

      With kind regards,
      Sascha Reinhardt

      Hello,

      Thank you for your description.

I updated the plugin to v5.3.9.2 and fixed this issue, please check.

Also, please change the RSS feed name when testing the update, so WordPress can generate a fresh RSS feed for you, as otherwise, it might show the feed from its old cache, for 1 day.

Let me know if this helped.

      Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
