I have product posts that have images in them. When using the rewriter, and checking the boxe for ” <b>Protect HTML Tags in Edited Text</b>”, the rewriter ends up removing the tags.

Is this normal and is there a way for me to prevent anything from changing in the original post, but instead add to the existing content?

Would using the shortcode inside the original post be the only way to append or prepend the rewriter content? Or am I using the wrong tool for adding new content to existing posts?

      Aside:
Does “<b>Disable Editing of Content Longer Than This Character Count</b>” include HTML tags? i.e. img tags or any other HTML content?

      Thanks!

      Hello,

Well, indeed, the AI writer can be unpredictable in some cases. I suggest you experiment with different settings of the plugin, to see which suits your current website setup the best.

I suggest you go with ‘Protect HTML Tags in Edited Text’ also unchecked and add specific info to the AI editor’s prompt, so it will not edit any HTML tags, only the content which is rendered and visible to the user, after rendering the HTML content of the text.

Also, yes, the character count includes also HTML tags.

      Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
