      Hi Szabi,

      I hope all is well.

      Question/Suggestion:
The s3 offloading plugin works perfectly in combination with the AI content editor. I selected the option to have no copies in the media library. I use the Fifu plugin to use external s3 URLs as suggested.

The only problem is the cryptic naming convention of the images. It makes it impossible to find image on S3 that correspond to a post. Could you possibly fix that or have I missed an option?

      See screenshot.

      Thank you once more.

      Hello,

Well, these seem to be the original names of the image files, which indeed can sometimes have cryptic names.

Do you have any suggestion in mind on how these file names can be changed, to improve this functionality?

      Regards,

      Szabi – CodeRevolution.

      Hi Szabi,

I think it would make sense to use Post Titles (or normalized post titles / slugs) since these are featured images for posts 100% of the time, when editing existing content. There should be a high correlation and it should be useful to most users.

      Thank you for considering.

I checked the code of the plugin and it seems to be more complicated than it seems at first, as the copy image to S3 function call be called multiple times for the same post, in case there are multiple images in post content, case in which images would be overwritten. Also, there are some cases in which AI generated images are copied to the S3 storage, in an early moment when no post title is available.

So, this idea would work in some parts of the plugin, but might break other parts or functionality of it.

I understand. Hey, no problem. It was worth asking. Thanks for the quick reaction and thank you for the amazing work on the plugin. Have a great rest of the day.
