Using Amazomatic with woocommerce

I am trying to get Amazomatic to work with my woocommerce store.  I am successfully able to create the posts as products, but they are downloaded as "simple" products rather than "External/affiliate product".  The problem is that the buy button adds products to cart rather than serving up the amazon page. Is it possible to have Amazomatic publish the products as woocommerce products as an external / Affiliate product and populate the Product URL field with the affiliate link?
