Standard resizing of images

Hello Author, I keyed- in numbers on Main settings - Featured Image Resize Width: (eg. 400) and Featured Image Resize Height: (e.g. 300). However, on my landing page, the images are still not 'standard size', especially if some of the scrape images were in portrait orientation. I want it to appear something like this -->https://allofcrypto.news/. Thanks for the help
