Simple category-based RSS feed

I am attempting to create a very stripped down category-based RSS feed When I go to Post Generator, I insert "&category_name=ticker" into the Advanced Feed Query, but despite the category being created, this breaks my feed. How can I set up a simple category-based feed that hides some information?
