Currently, OpenAI does not offer access to ChatGPT, which you referenced, this will be possible in 1-2 months from now on (if they stick to their scheduled launch plan). Currently, OpenAI allows access to DaVinci-03 GPT-3 model, which does not have access to the current date, so, it is not able to return correct info when you ask it about events of today. Instead, I suggest you create a prompt like the below one, which will create correct output from OpenAI’s API: Write a blog post about “Important events from rock music which happened on the 7th of January” referencing music events or news from the past In the future there will be improvements to OpenAI’s APIs and I am sure that in 1-2 months from now, the prompts you tried initially will also work.
