Limited Articles even though 2,500 minimum is selected

Hello, Each time an article is published it only has around 300 characters although following the settings and adjusting it to 2,000 has not worked. I can see that there has been another case like this and no resolve. Is this an issue with the plugin and would it be possible to provide a solution?
