How does the Title vs Topic work?

Hello, After the update it really is a great feature but after watching your tutorials and documentations I have a question. When we setup via the bulk post, we select 'Topics/Sections Based posting', does this option replace the previous posting method (Titled Based) and so where do we we add a document in the new method?
